Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Web Design and Content Specialist to join us on a casual basis (approximately 2 days per week) to enhance our Word Press website and support digital content creation and social media activities. This hybrid role focuses on web design, implementation, and ongoing content production to strengthen our online presence and engagement. There is potential for future work depending on business needs.
WhatYou'll Do
- Design and build updated web templates and pages in Word Press, ensuring visual consistency with brand standards.
- Implement dynamic web elements (animations, interactive blocks, responsive layouts) to enhance user experience.
- Develop engaging digital content for social media platforms, including copywriting, imagery, and short‑form video.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture and promote events, promotions, and campaigns.
- Monitor social engagement and optimise content based on performance insights.
- Efficiently manage time across web design and content deliverables to meet weekly expectations.
- · Proven experience with Word Press website design and implementation.
- · Strong UI/UX design skills and attention to detail.
- · Proficiency in front‑end web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- · Experience creating and scheduling content for social media platforms.
- · Understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategies.
- ·(Desirable) Graphic design skills and familiarity with social analytics or scheduling tools.
