Key Responsibilities
- Classify mortality risks using company guidelines while considering profitability and market needs
- Demonstrate sound financial underwriting and product knowledge
- Manage handling and approval authority for cases up to $1,000,000 or as determined by management
- Thorough knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good underwriting judgment
- Experience with insurance medicine and life insurance contract law
- Ability to manage a full underwriting caseload effectively
