Database Programmer

Duncan Aviation is looking for a highly motivated problem solver to join our team as a Database Programmer. We are looking for someone who knows or is willing to learn RPG and Node.js, and who can not only code but also analyze a problem, devise an actionable solution, and implement it quickly.

Not familiar with RPG or Node.js? It’s not a concern. What matters is that you are driven and eager to learn. If you possess these traits, you will make an excellent addition to the Duncan Aviation team.

The Programmer/Analyst I performs basic computer programming activities to develop new and modify existing less‑complex computer applications in support of approved client requirements, following detailed specifications. The role installs, reviews, tests, and trains on new and existing applications, and supports the Help Desk in responding to and resolving user issues.

• Licenses/Certificates: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Attendance: Regular scheduled attendance required.
• Physical: Must read small print; capable of repetitive motion; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and sitting.
• Environmental: N/A.

• Associate’s degree in Computer Programming Technology or an equivalent field required.
• Proficiency with various PC and network hardware, Microsoft Server, and a variety of software.
