Immigration Paralegal

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing immigration cases, conducting legal research, and preparing necessary documentation for clients navigating the complexities of immigration law. This role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to client service, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist attorneys with the preparation and filing of immigration petitions and applications.
• Conduct legal research related to immigration laws and regulations.
• Interview clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Maintain case files and manage deadlines effectively.
• Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing communications.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research techniques and tools.
• Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather client information.
• Familiarity with various areas of law including personal injury law, patent law, tribal law regulations, and contract law is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette for professional client interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role is preferred.
• Must be Fluent in English and Spanish .
• Must read and write Spanish and English.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.56 per hour
