The International Purchasing & Inventory Assistant supports purchasing, inventory control, and new-business coordination. The role helps ensure materials are ordered from international suppliers in line with MRP requirements, inventory records are accurate, and purchasing activities meet operational timelines.

• Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support timely delivery and resolve routine order issues.
• Assist with project coordination for new business, including tracking purchasing and material-related action items.
• Reconcile month-end inventory valuations and help research variances.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable safety rules.
• Cross-train and provide support to other departments as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or purchasing—especially international purchasing—is preferred.
• Familiarity with MRP systems is an asset.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.
• Regular and punctual attendance is an expectation of the role.
