PrimaryJob Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Select equipment, plan layout, assembly, and welding; apply knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal, welding techniques, and weld shrinkage.
- Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machines, structures and equipment using appropriate tools.
- Construct foundations for machines and assemble using bolting, welding, riveting or other fastening methods.
- Repair, lubricate, and perform maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Read and interpret safety information, signage and instructions.
- Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, and bridge parts.
- Assist with bolting and riveting parts; dismantle, straighten, reshape, and reassemble components using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools.
- Strong work history with at least 3 years of millwright experience.
- Strong vision (near and far) or ability to wear corrective lenses.
- Physical capability to push, pull, lift, carry, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights as required.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Accurate use of tape measure; ability to convert decimals.
- Read, layout, fit, and weld components accurately.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Proficiency with hand tools and some equipment set‑up and operation.
- Ability to accomplish all functions assigned by management.
- Successfully pass pre‑employment drug screen, criminal background check, physical exam, customer security check, E‑Verify, motor‑vehicle record (if applicable), and any other required assessments.

- Perform work that is accurate, complete, well‑organized, concise, analytical, and well‑articulated.
