GENERAL FUNCTION
Drive qualified traffic to fuel revenue and traffic growth for our omnichannel retail business lelples ecommerce websites and brick and mortar retail locations to acquire new customers. A qualified candidate will administer paid campaigns for programmatic and social. A successful candidate will understand omnichannel strategy and contribute to strategic and measurable growth in these channels. They will be able to drive positive outcomes and return‑on‑investment and will understand the key foundational aspects and impact of online marketing.
This position will be cross‑functional and can work across channels with multiple teams.
- Drive growth specifically via digital marketing programs, including:
- Display Programmatic Advertising – Manage display campaigns to both prospect and remarket consumers. Coordinate creative with brand teams and agency partners, manage budgets and ensure optimization via best practices with an eye towards testing and performance.
- Social Advertising – Assist and support the Paid Social Media Manager with creating social ads, paid social projects, and communications to our agency regarding upcoming promotions.
- Affiliate Marketing – Optimize affiliate programs by developing strategic integrated plans, coordinating with agency partners and publishers, crafting messaging and monitoring execution compliance.
- Maintain promotional calendar support and partner internally with teams on the overall go to market activations.
- Pull reporting and develop actionable insights and optimizations across all digital marketing programs, showcasing a technical understanding of platform functionality. Communicate insights and reporting to other marketing teams as needed.
- Ensure seamless and.ut effective customer experience across devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Educate partners where appropriate and encourage direct‑to‑consumer digital focus.

- Minimum of a college bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or Advertising
- 2+ years of retail or ecommerce experience
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and tactics
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to drive effective collaboration and influencing within a matrix organization
- Excellent analytical skills critical
- Excellent organization skills critical
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to typical retail environment
- This position is located in‑office at Bass Pro Headquarters in Springfield, MO.
