Resident Care Manager, RN
Eventide | Tabitha is currently seeking a Resident Care Manager, RN at our Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lincoln, NE, to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Long Term Care and Transitional Care Units.

Full‑time, daytime shifts - Location:
Lincoln, NE - Salary: $55,638 – $116,128
- Manage and supervise administrative and operational functions of the unit in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times for all residents.
- Perform assessments of current residents at critical points of change.
- Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate continuous functioning of the unit and the quality of resident care.
- Maintain awareness of changes in state and federal regulation and assist in implementing needed changes.
- Serve as the primary contact person to meet and appropriately handle resident and/or family concerns.
- Assist in coordinating and participating in resident care conferences to provide education to residents and families.
- Work outside regularly‑scheduled shifts on occasion to maintain connection with staff on all shifts and to stay aware of concerns and needs not identified on day shifts.
- Monitor and supervise all staff in maintaining accurate documentation on residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Act as a mandated reporter and be aware of the Elder Justice Act; report vulnerable adult incidents in a timely manner and perform investigations as needed.
- Actively participate in quality improvement projects and monitor change.
- Provide input and monitoring of appropriate Medicare, MSHO (if applicable), and insurance usage by residents.
- Continually evaluate appropriateness of resident placement on the unit.
- Actively participate in the orientation of new employees and provide ongoing coaching and education.
- Assist staff in preparing for state and federal inspections.
- Evaluate staffing needs and maintain adequate staffing.
- Assist in interviewing and selection process for new employees for the unit.
- Assist in determining competency and assessing educational needs of the unit.
- Coordinate and conduct educational and informational staff meetings regularly.
- Ensure all staff maintain necessary records for Medicare and/or Medicaid reimbursement.
- Advocate for residents and nursing staff and influence change through collaboration.
- Continuously update nursing skills, management skills, and knowledge through continuing education and staff meetings.
- Assume all responsibilities of Charge Nurse/Registered Nurse whenever necessary.
- Rotate weekend and weekly on‑call responsibilities and provide leadership to direct care staff.
- Must have an active NE RN license or be able to obtain upon hire.
- Long Term Care and/or Senior Living experience preferred.
- Previous Manager or Supervisor experience preferred but not required.
- NE RN license or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Current good standing in all states in which you have ever been licensed as a nurse in the U.S.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Directly supervises RNs, LPNs, Medication Aides and CNAs.
