Job Summary and Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you must possess exemplary leadership and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of the Magnet Recognition Program framework, and a passion for advancing professional nursing practice.
- Supports & facilitates the problem solving and decision-making skills of health care providers, the institution and other organizations.
- Utilizes principles of communication to facilitate appropriate exchange of information.
- Responds to requests for consultation from staff members and directors regarding practice issues.
- Collaborates with the nurse directors/managers/educators to identify clinical activities to facilitate the professional growth of staff.
- Provides leadership and coordination related to maintaining Magnet designation.
- Serves as a liaison between Education, Human Resources and the nursing division in issues that affect professional practice and facilitates communication across nursing departments.
As our Professional Practice Magnet Coordinator RN, you will be pivotal in fostering a culture of nursing excellence, driving professional development, and ensuring our organization successfully achieves and sustains Magnet recognition.
Every day you will lead initiatives related to professional nursing practice, facilitate the collection and analysis of data for Magnet designation, and collaborate with nursing leadership and staff to promote evidence-based care. You will be expected to ensure alignment with Magnet standards, develop and implement educational programs, and serve as an expert resource on professional nursing practice within the organization.
Job Requirements Required- Masters Of Science in Nursing, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: NE, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- 3-5 years in Nursing/Management experience
- Professional certification

Pay Range$40.72 - $59.05 /hour
