Registered Nurse (RN) Floor Nurse – Part‑Time Evenings – Tabitha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Eventide‑Tabitha is hiring a Part‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift of 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (4 hours) on a rotating schedule of every other weekend and holiday. The Charge Nurse will provide and ensure the highest degree of nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Eventide‑Tabitha policies.

Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (4 hours) – every other weekend and holiday.

• Follow physician orders and record them when appropriate.
• Prepare, administer, or supervise medication and other nursing services as ordered; observe clients for adverse reactions.
• Assess clients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial status; report condition changes promptly to the supervisor and provide follow‑up with family and physician as directed; record vital signs accurately.
• Observe clients’ skin and take steps to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Complete procedures and document them accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Direct and monitor Med Aides who are delivering medications to clients.
• Supervise and educate clients in self‑administration of medications; assist in teaching necessary skills for home return.
• Assist in writing and implementing a comprehensive nursing plan of care; update the plan based on changes in clients’ condition.

• Minimum age 18.
• Successful completion of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse academic program;
  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as an RN or LPN.
• RN or LPN license in good standing, registered on the Nebraska State Registry or an equivalent Nurse Compact state; CPR certification required.
• Licenses and credentials must be kept current at the employee’s expense.
• Must meet Tabitha’s vaccination requirements.
