Registered Nurse; RN - Hospice Lincoln​/Lancaster County, NE

Overview

Tabitha Hospice in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to work 8a-5p Monday to Friday. The Hospice RN is responsible for planning, organizing and directing hospice care for senior residents.

• Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments.
• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Develop and regularly update plan of care, including nursing diagnosis and palliative actions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and facilitate self-sufficiency.
• Assume case manager role as assigned; coordinate care for assigned caseload.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and report changes in condition to physician.

• Age 18 or older.
• RN license in good standing; CPR certification required.
• Two years acute/long term care nursing experience within the last five years; hospice preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license and auto insurance; meets vaccination requirements.
