We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health team in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatric NP seeking a flexible part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive mental health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychiatric medication management and monitor treatment response.
- Provide ongoing patient follow-up and psychiatric care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Support evidence-based psychiatric and behavioral health practices.
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
- Active Nebraska Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health services preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a clinical team.
