Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract position. The successful candidate will work night shifts and be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients. This position involves working in various specialized care units, including Long-Term Care (LTC), Transition Care Unit (TCU), Extended Care Unit (ECN), and Acute Rehabilitation (AR).

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care and assistance with daily activities.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Documenting patient care in the electronic medical record (Sunrise).
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

IV experience is required; vent experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Facility Call-Off Policy:
Up to 3 shifts may be missed without penalty during the contract period.

Traveler Call-Out Policy: 3 or more call-outs during the contract will result in termination.

Orientation can occur at either the Lincoln or Omaha locations, depending on the selected start date.

Clean and professional scrubs are required for this position.
