The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead all quality and food safety programs within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and customer requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives that support product quality, food safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Lead internal audits, third-party audits, and customer inspections.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
- Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product consistency and food safety standards.
- Partner with Operations, Production, Sanitation, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage QA staff, providing leadership, training, coaching, and performance development.
- Review quality metrics, analyze trends, and create action plans to improve performance.
- Handle customer complaints, product holds, and non-conformance investigations.
- SQF Practitioner certification, PCQI certification, and HACCP certification
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA, and USDA regulations.
- Experience leading audits and managing regulatory compliance programs.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Multi-site or high-volume food manufacturing experience
