Project Scanning Associate – Temporary, Part‑Time (Lincoln, NE)

Scan Scape is hiring temporary, part‑time Project Scanning Associates to conduct in‑store data collections for a special annual project. The assignment involves scanning barcodes in grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores using a mobile app, covering 20–35 hours per week during the project period from January through March 2025.

• Travel to designated local retailers, including major chains such as Walmart, Kroger, Hannaford, Target, Albertsons, Walgreens, and independent stores.
• Use the provided mobile app to scan barcodes with a phone’s camera at stocking locations throughout each store.
• Perform measuring and UPC scanning tasks, ensuring thoroughness and timeliness for accurate data.
• Work independently while maintaining consistent quality and meeting project deadlines.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Available to start by January 18, 2025, and work each week through March 2025.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, reach up to 6 ft, and bend/stretch for prolonged periods.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and minimum state auto insurance if driving.
• Comfortable with virtual/online training and using a smartphone app.

20–35 hours/week (variable by store size), paid hourly. Hour flexibility and workplace independence are key benefits.
