Overview

(Multi-Carrier) Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions)

Base pay range: $32,000.00/yr - $/yr

The typical training salary is $55k - $65k. Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k. There is potential for top performers to earn over $100k in the first year.

• Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community.
• Provide auto, home, life and other insurance solutions from top national and regional carriers.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate insurance coverages and provide consultative guidance.

Note:

This role has in-office requirements and focuses on community-based sales in the Kansas City area.

• Previous employment in a sales role with a track record of turning prospects into customers.
• A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life.

• Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
• Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.

Some roles may include commission and/or bonus earnings varying by the compensation plan.
