We’re looking for a reliable, self‑motivated Maintenance Technician to help maintain multiple residential properties in the Lincoln, NEmarket. Be ready to tackle repairs, perform routine upkeep, and work closely with our property management team to ensure our properties remain safe, functional, and welcoming. Minimum Qualifications- 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience
- Functional knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC systems
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving background
- Certification in property maintenance or a related trade.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner and ensure quality service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Perform make‑readies for newly rented units accurately and efficiently.
- On‑call rotation with the team for after‑hours emergencies.
The required skills for this position include strong problem‑solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and addressing maintenance issues effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as the technician must ensure that all repairs meet safety and quality standards. Communication skills are also important, as the technician will interact with tenants and property management regularly. Preferred skills, such as knowledge of landscaping, enhance the technician’s ability to maintain the exterior aesthetics of the properties.
Overall, a combination of technical skills and interpersonal abilities will enable the technician to perform their duties efficiently and contribute positively to the property management team.
