This position serves as a vital member of the Student Life Information Technology team. The Software Developer Analyst provides technical and analytical software support for the software and systems developed within Student Life, as well as providing support for third party software used within the Division of Student Life.
In this role, you will:- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain web and application solutions that support Student Life operations and services.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure point-of-sale hardware and software systems.
- Develop, document, and maintain software policies and procedures that align with university standards and the student code of conduct.
- Make recommendations for software and equipment purchases and upgrades.
- Configure Single Sign On (SSO) and manage identity and access controls using Grouper.
- Design, develop, and manage system integrations and APIs between Student Life systems and enterprise platforms.
- Implement and monitor automated workflows to improve data exchange, reduce manual processes, and enhance system reliability.
- Write custom SQL queries, stored procedures, and Power Shell scripts to facilitate automation and system interoperability.

Minimum Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field. Two year in software development and/or application administration.
- Experience developing, supporting, or administering server-based applications and systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical users.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment.
- Familiarity with SQL databases. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Must be customer service oriented and have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working with various levels of business and technical staff.
- Ability to work well both independently and as a team player.
- Three years in software development and/or application administration.
- Prior experience with C#.
- Prior experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
- Prior experience with OWASP security best practices.
Posted Salary: $65,000/yr. minimum
