We rely on our Jetstar Engineering Team to deliver our superior safety standards, up to the second. They’re the trouble‑shooter, glitch‑fixer and tech‑expert who make sure we take to the sky safely. It’s all part of the day job as a Jetstar Engineer – whether you’re on the frontline as a Maintenance Engineer or in our Engineering Corporate & Support Team ensuring that we land deadlines, keep projects on track and work as a team to help us transform our fleet for the better.
YourOpportunity
We are looking for a Logistics & Support Coordinator to join our Auckland based Engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the management, coordination and serviceability of aircraft parts, tooling and engineering ground support equipment across New Zealand. Ensuring all parts and tooling are controlled, serviced and packed ready for delivery to service aircraft across our ports. You will also monitor the logistics and transport of equipment and action receipt and dispatch within nominated time frames.
We want to hear from you if you are logical, can see the big picture, and do not mind working in a fast‑paced and sometimes unpredictable environment. You will be organised with meticulous attention to detail.
We’re looking for someone with:- Previous experience in aviation logistics (preferable)
- Mechanical aptitude or a trade background (preferable)
- Previous experience with the management of Inventory in a stores or warehouse environment
- Highly self‑motivated positive attitude and focused
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and consolidate input from multiple areas and sources
- Ability to prioritise work and perform multiple tasks under time constraints and be able to meet strict deadlines
- Team player with an ability to work under supervision
- Sound data entry skills and high attention to detail
- Understanding of logistics planning, workflows and operational control
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Current Drivers License and the ability to hold an Airside Drivers License
- Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating shift roster
