$1,500 new hire sign‑on bonus | Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
The Respite worker provides families of children with special health care needs relief from their responsibilities by providing one‑to‑one direct care for their child within or outside the home by implementing a safety and service plan. All duties vary depending on the specific needs of each child. The parent/caretaker will provide all training specific to their child. Safety plan must be reviewed and implemented when necessary.

- Provide on‑call safe one‑to‑one direct care per the plan for children with special health care needs as directed by parents/caretakers.
- Provide socialization opportunities within home and/or outside the home when appropriate.
- Perform all necessary self‑care tasks as needed by the individual supported.
- Provide transportation to and from all social activities only as approved by parent/caretaker.
- Provide required documentation to coordinator in a timely manner.
- Implement safety plans and perform duties as directed by parents or caretakers.
- 18+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License & Good Driving Record
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Per State regulations, qualifications determined by individual family
