The RoleThe Slot Shift Manager will oversee all slot attendants, assist the Slot Director and Slot Manager in all aspects of the slot department. This role requires stellar guest‑service abilities, strong communication skills, and prior gaming experience.
Responsibilities- Interact with other department heads during all phases of planning events.
- Oversee all aspects of Slot Operations.
- Respond to all requests from the Executive management team.
- Interact with vendors and sales personnel concerning new products, purchases, repairs, and maintenance.
- Serve as department representative at official functions and company events, including committees and staff meetings.
- Analyze and make decisions concerning drop/win percentages, hold, equipment, locations, and moves.
- Respond to guest correspondence, in‑house projects, and all departmental dealings with regulatory bodies, including the gaming commission and IRS.
- Oversee all final decisions on hiring, discipline, vacations, terminations, etc., for all slot areas.
- Control and review the department budget.
- Conduct scheduling and handle conflicts with employees.
- Set VLTs and continuously review settings.
- Troubleshoot and problem‑solve continuously.
- Maintain superior communication skills.
- Extensive background in accounting, administration, marketing, and operations.
- Ability to communicate easily with all levels of team members and guests.
- Ability to organize, delegate, and follow through on multiple projects.
- Experience with Wager system, Intelligien system, William Ryan System, and Microsoft products.
- Clear spoken and written English; bilingual in Spanish is beneficial.
- Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations Gaming License.
- Constantly sit, stand, and walk.
- Frequently on‑call 24 hours for problems, complaints, etc., as they arise.
- Work is performed in a climate‑controlled environment.
- Hazards include cigarette smoke when in the casino area.
- Moderate heavy lifting.

Target Salary Range: $57,750
