Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building mechanicals. The role ensures that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe, clean condition.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
  • Repair, maintain, and monitor all equipment and amenities.
  • Change HVAC filters and perform routine HVAC maintenance.
  • Arrange furniture and equipment as required.
  • Change light bulbs (interior and exterior).
  • Maintain exterior property mechanicals.
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned.
  • Work flexible hours.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replace filters and identify complex maintenance needs to supervisor.
  • Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security; report hazardous conditions.
  • Follow safe working practices and use protective equipment as required.
  • Responsible for all building repairs and mechanicals for Calise Depots.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 5–10 years of facilities maintenance experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general building mechanicals.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service orientation.
  • Organized, detail oriented, self‑motivated, and able to multi‑task.
Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions
  • Ability to push/lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to bend at waist, sit, kneel, climb, walk, crouch as job requires.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection.
  • Work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints.
