Industrial Electrician - 1st Shift

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician will provide support for electrical needs within the facility.

Responsibilities Plan, layout and perform all operations in the installation, repair, and maintenance of the electrical concerns of the facility and equipment.

Tear down complex units, diagnose and troubleshoot

Install & wire AC & DC motors and drives for a wide variety of machine tools and all types of starters and controls.

Prepare wiring diagrams & fabricate panel boards

Advise engineering in usage and compatibility of new and existing equipment and components

Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements to building and safety codes

Qualifications

Minimum of a RI Journeyman’s Electrical License required2 to 5+ years previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to identify and solve problems quickly. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills a must.

Familiarity with industrial controls & processes

Fundamental principles of Computer Systems, Process Controls, Mechanics and Electronics $ 34.40 - $49.40 Hourly
