What You’ll Do- Receiving and Processing Shipments:
Inspect and receive incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and check for damage. - Inventory Management:
Sort, label, and place items in designated storage locations following inventory protocols. - Preparing Orders for Shipment:
Pick, pack, label, and ship customer orders with precision and efficiency. - Loading and Unloading:
Use forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trucks safely. - Inventory Control:
Perform inventory counts, verify stock levels, and update inventory records. - Documentation:
Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading and other required paperwork. - Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workspace:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. - Communication:
Coordinate with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to support operations. - Problem Solving:
Address shipment, inventory, or customer order issues proactively.
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with experience using UPS and Fed Ex shipping software, strong organizational and time-management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate can work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team, is comfortable standing for extended periods, and is physically capable of regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
