Accounts AdministratorAre you an experienced Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger professional looking to join a growing business?
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger Administrator to support our busy finance team and play a key role in the smooth running of our financial operations.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for managing both the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring invoices, payments and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with operational teams and customers, you'll help maintain strong financial controls while delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Raise customer invoices and process credit notes.
- Resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Support credit control and monitor outstanding balances.
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve financial queries and improve processes.
- Previous experience in both Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience using finance/accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- AAT qualification (or studying towards AAT) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with in insurance, claims, fleet, automotive or service industries would be advantageous.
- Salary of £24,784.50 - £28,000.00 depending on experience.
- Monday-Friday working hours (9:00am-5:30pm).
