Financial Administrator​/Bookkeeper

Location: Hybrid role. Office days in Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Contract: Permanent | 20 hours per week

Join a purpose-driven heritage charity and play a key role in keeping our finances running smoothly. We’re looking for a proactive, detail-focused Financial Administrator/Bookkeeper to support both the charity and our trading arm, the International Bomber Command Centre.

• Process sales invoices, receipts, payments and supplier invoices
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Manage payroll, tax deductions and staff expenses
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Maintain accurate digital records in Xero
• Collate donation reports and submit Gift Aid claims
• Create purchase orders and support annual audit fieldwork
• Prepare reports for Companies House, Charity Commission and accountants
• Work with senior leaders on budgets and financial planning
• Liaise with staff, volunteers, suppliers and auditors

• Experience in bookkeeping or financial administration
• Strong accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence using Xero (or similar accounting software)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
