Purchase Ledger Clerk

Overview

The Priory Federation of Academies Trust is an established and supportive MAT with a mission to improve the life chances of students and to support staff. This role joins our Finance Team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, responsible for raising purchase orders, confirming goods received, entering purchase invoices, and dealing with purchase‑related queries using a fully integrated accounting package.

Applicants are to have experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel), a genuine interest in a career in finance, and have achieved grade A in GCSEs.

• Raise purchase orders
• Confirm goods received
• Enter purchase invoices
• Deal with purchase‑related queries
• Provide financial support to the Academies
• Work alongside the wider Finance and Central Service Teams

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Grade A GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
