Job Summary

Within Therapies we have an opportunity for a Administrative/Clerical Receptionist to join a 20+ strong administrative team across four main therapy departments. The job involves supporting therapy services to maintain Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy departments outputs across the sites. The post is to be based at Lincoln County Hospital with travel to other sites in line with business need and training requirements.

This position is for 22.5 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure patients receive appointments within the local and national targets set.
  • Ensure patients and staff receive all relevant information in a timely, accurate and effective way.
  • Ensure all data relating to patients is captured in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide a customer focused booking service.
  • Provide reception services to relevant areas in a professional, understanding and courteous manner.
  • Follow agreed procedures and protocols.
Person Specification Qualifications
  • Essential: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification/experience or NVQ Level 2 in relevant subject, i.e. Customer Care skills or Administration (or equivalent qualification) or at least working towards it.
  • Desirable: CLAIT or European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent.
Previous Experience
  • Essential:
    Experience of working in a customer care or office environment.
  • Desirable:
    Knowledge or experience of NHS working.
Knowledge, skills, aptitudes
  • Essential:
    Good data entry/keyboard skills.
  • Essential:
    Ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
  • Essential:
    Good written and verbal communication skills.
