Location: Lincoln (Office Based)

: £32,000 per annum

We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join an established business in a varied and evolving position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable turning their hand to different tasks and wants to become a valued, long-term member of a supportive team.
This isn't a role where every day will look the same. While finance & administration will form an important part of the position, you will also gain exposure to a range of office-based functions, providing support wherever it is needed across the business.
Full training will be provided across different areas, making this a great opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their knowledge and develop their responsibilities over time.
The RoleWorking as part of the office support team, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices and supporting purchase ledger activities
- Assisting with payroll and wages administration
- Supporting import and export administration
- Providing general finance and accounts administration
- Assisting with invoicing and maintaining accurate financial records
- Providing reception and general administrative cover when required
- Maintaining accurate records and spreadsheets
- Supporting colleagues across different office-based functions
- Learning different processes to provide effective cover across the team
- Taking on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and experience develops
- Helping with general administrative tasks and responding to changing business priorities
The role has been designed to be flexible, and responsibilities will naturally develop over time. You will have the opportunity to learn how different areas of the business operate and become a versatile member of the team.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within finance, accounts or a similar administrative position
- Ideally has some exposure to purchase ledger, invoicing and/or payroll
- Is confident using Excel and comfortable learning new systems
- Enjoys a varied workload and doesn't need every day to follow the same routine
- Is flexible and happy to help wherever required
- Has a proactive attitude and is willing to learn new responsibilities
- Is organised, accurate and able to prioritise changing workloads
- Is a genuine team player who is prepared to get involved in tasks at all levels
- Is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity where they can develop with the business
