Operational Administrator Operational Administrator The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive, organised and commercially minded Operational Administrator to join a busy FMCG operation at our Boston site.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of business operations. You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the operation, taking responsibility for stock administration, product costings, customer order profiles, reporting and customer queries.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help ensure operational processes run efficiently, information is accurate and customer expectations are consistently met.
We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach. Previous experience within FMCG would be beneficial.
Operational AdministratorKey Responsibilities
- Stock Management:
Maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock levels and investigate discrepancies, ensuring stock information is always up to date. - Costings:
Prepare, review and update product costings, ensuring accuracy and supporting effective cost management. - Order Profiles:
Create and maintain customer order profiles, ensuring orders are accurately recorded and processed efficiently. - Reporting:
Produce daily summaries and operational reports, providing accurate information to support business performance. - Customer Queries:
Handle customer enquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly and maintaining strong customer relationships. - Operational Support:
Work closely with internal teams to support daily operations, maintain efficient processes and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Previous experience in an operational administration, stock control or order processing role, ideally within FMCG.
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using IT systems, with good Microsoft Office skills.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience using the Prophet system would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Salary: £29,870 per annum.
- Working days:
Wednesday to Saturday. - Hours:
7:00am 5:30pm. - A varied role with responsibility across several key operational functions.
