GSL Education is seeking a friendly, professional, and organised School Receptionist to join a welcoming school in Spalding
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or receptionist who enjoys working in a busy environment. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and students, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school reception.
The Role:
As a School Receptionist, you will provide a warm and professional welcome to everyone visiting the school while supporting the wider administrative team with a range of duties.
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and students.
- Manage the school reception and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails.
- Carry out general administrative and clerical duties.
- Maintain accurate records and update school systems where required.
- Assist with pupil attendance and visitor records.
- Ensure safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Previous experience working in a school or education setting would be desirable but is not essential.
