A highly respected main dealer group in Lincoln is expanding its aftersales division and seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their master workshop team. Representing a prominent global automotive brand, this state-of-the-art service facility manages comprehensive retail maintenance, warranty repairs, and advanced vehicle diagnostics. The role offers structured manufacturer development, high-spec workshop tooling, and excellent earning potential.
What's Included in the Package?- Salary Range: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum basic (DOE) + efficiency bonus scheme (Holding a valid MOT Tester licence is advantageous and will attract a higher starting salary!)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday schedule (plus Saturdays on a fair rota basis) - Paid Leave: 20 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays

- Manufacturer Training: Fully funded upskilling pathways, including EV/Hybrid certifications and specialist brand qualifications
- Carry out heavy mechanical repairs, including engine diagnostics/overhauls, gearbox replacements, timing belts/chains, and clutches
- Utilize brand diagnostic platforms to trace and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults
- Conduct routine servicing, multi-point vehicle health checks (VHC), and manufacturer warranty inspections
- Maintain detailed technical records on job cards and communicate repair progress with service reception
- Uphold strict bay cleanliness, tool maintenance, and workshop health and safety standards
- Technical Ability: Demonstrated expertise in major mechanical overhauls alongside confident diagnostic problem-solving
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ / IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served credential)
- MOT Status: Active MOT Tester accreditation is desirable for an enhanced starting band, but is not essential to apply
- Mindset: Quality-focused professional dedicated to accurate, right-first-time repairs
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
