We are seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership in Burton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to contribute to a busy workshop, develop their skills, and progress their career within a reputable organisation. The successful individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of vehicle care across a range of established automotive brands.

Basic salary ranging from £36,500 based on experience with an OTE of up to £41,500

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Perform diagnostics and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out thorough vehicle inspections and prepare reports on vehicle condition, safety, and performance
Complete vehicle safety tests, including MOTs (if qualified)
Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet quality standards as a Vehicle Technician
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity goals and quality standards
Collaborate effectively within a busy workshop team Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Vehicle Repair
At least 3 years of practical workshop experience, preferably within a main dealer environment
Experience in diagnostics and using electronic systems
MOT licence desirable but not essential
Strong mechanical skills with attention to detail
Positive attitude and teamwork skills
Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
