Business Administrator - External Supplier Quality

Join our client, a leader in the engineering industry, as a dedicated Business Administrator supporting the External Supplier Quality team for blades and vanes. This role will contribute to the Small Gas Turbine business within a dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Supplier Concessions:
    Submit and coordinate concessions, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance, and distribute to the relevant subject‑matter experts for rapid review.
  • Report Quality Data:
    Compile, analyze concession performance metrics and defect trends, and produce monthly KPI reports to monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate Team

    Activities:

    Organize meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and facilitate cross‑functional reviews with engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Track Corrective Actions:
    Monitor CAPA progress, flag overdue actions, and update QMS/ERP systems accurately.
  • Support Continuous Improvement:
    Streamline templates, reporting tools and administrative processes to increase team efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Experience in administration within engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or quality environments.
  • Strong organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI and other business systems (ERP/QMS).
  • Confident communication skills for engaging suppliers and internal technical teams.
  • Data‑driven mindset to generate insights and manage multiple priorities.

  • Clear and reliable reporting that supports decision‑making.
  • Improved communication flow between suppliers and the quality team.
  • Reduced administrative burden on Supplier Quality Engineers.
