Role Overview

The Team Leader (Night Shift) will play a key role in leading an operative-level team and will be accountable for health & safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery standards within the area. This is a hands-on leadership position within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting operational excellence and team development.

Shift Pattern:

Nights:
Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:30

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise a team at operative level

· Promote strong leadership, communication, and organisational standards

· Monitor staffing levels and act upon staffing requirements

· Ensure all team members are trained to a competent level to carry out duties safely and correctly

· Maintain appropriate skill levels within the team

· Ensure all hygiene systems and relevant paperwork are completed accurately and on time

· Analyse, review, and communicate team performance regularly

· Understand and implement effective cleaning practices

· Manage staff rotas and holidays using TMS

· Understand and support environmental and allergen swabbing regimes

· Step up to Manager role to provide cover during holiday periods

· Promote a professional and positive attitude at all times

Skills & Experience

Essential:

· Minimum 2 year’s experience in an FMCG hygiene role

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
