The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project in Lincoln, working on a complex scheme with a project value in excess of £50 million.
This is a great opportunity for a Sub Agent with a strong background in major infrastructure and complex civil engineering projects, looking to take the next step in their career with a leading contractor.
You will work closely with the Site Agent and wider project team, taking responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of works on your section of the project.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing and coordinating site activities within your allocated section of works.
· Working closely with the Site Agent, Project Manager and engineering teams.
· Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
· Supervising engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
· Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
· Monitoring progress and identifying any potential delays or issues.
· Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to senior management.
· Coordinating with commercial, planning, design and HSEQ teams.
· Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS and project procedures.
· Supporting the Site Agent with the overall delivery of the project.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
· Proven experience working as a Sub Agent or similar position within civil engineering.
· A strong background in major infrastructure projects.
· Experience working on projects valued at £50m+.
· Experience managing complex construction activities and multiple interfaces.
· Strong technical and organisational skills.
· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
· Relevant civil engineering qualifications.
· A strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
Major infrastructure experience is essential for this position.
