Architectural Assistant (Part
2) / Architectural Technologist

Fancy a role where one week you are detailing a listed building repair, and the next you are coordinating a Revit model for a pharmaceutical cleanroom? At Simons Design, that variety is the job.

We are a RIBA Chartered Practice based in Lincoln, working across heritage and conservation projects alongside pharmaceutical and life science design. We are looking for an experienced Architectural Assistant or Architectural Technologist to join our growing team and help shape projects from concept through to completion.

• Working across a genuine mix of pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial and heritage projects
• Leading projects, and collaborating as part of the team on larger commissions
• Developing designs and producing coordinated Revit models and drawings across the full project lifecycle
• Preparing production information, specifications and schedules
• Liaising with clients, planning authorities and other consultants

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, with a strong drawing and BIM background
• Graduate status with relevant experience, or HNC/HND plus 5+ years in a similar role
• Solid understanding of Building Regulations, planning processes and CDM Regulations
• A confident communicator who enjoys solving technical design problems

• Salary £35,000 to £38,000, depending on experience
