Academics are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in secondary schools across the Lincoln area.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role is temporary and long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. It is an excellent opportunity to support students with additional needs in a rewarding educational setting.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping them to access learning and engage positively in the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff to support behaviour, learning, and emotional needs.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs
A patient, caring, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An SEN Teaching Assistant must be eligible to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
