37 hours per week (7.5 hours Monday-Thursday, 7 hours Friday)
Pay Rate: £16.63 PAYE / £25 UMB

About the RoleAs the Skills and Education Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing early career pathways within our client’s organisation. You will be the key contact for various business units, helping to develop and attract fresh talent while ensuring a high‑quality learning experience.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary liaison with specified business units to foster early career talent and support employee upskilling through Apprenticeship Standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance in delivering apprenticeships, ensuring top‑notch learning outcomes.
- Identify and monitor training providers, ensuring due diligence and quality delivery.
- Oversee awarding body registration and certification activities for learners.
- Cultivate relationships with local schools, colleges, and universities to enhance talent attraction for entry‑level roles.
- Promote best practices and uphold Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
- Proven experience in delivering apprenticeship training and support.
- Knowledge of Government‑funded training.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in electronic portfolio systems.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Experience collaborating with local educational institutions to develop initiatives promoting early career opportunities.
- Flexibility in hours and locations is a plus!
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.
