Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about supporting young people? GSL Education is seeking proactive and dependable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Skegness.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or experienced support staff who are comfortable managing a classroom and ensuring continuity of learning in the teacher s absence.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with set work
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Provide guidance and support where needed
• Record attendance and report any concerns to senior staff
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• The ability to stay calm and assertive in a classroom setting
• A flexible and professional attitude
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
