Main Pay Scale A welcoming Primary School in Hatfield is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teacher to join their team within a newly established SEN Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-resourced and supportive environment, teaching a small class of five pupils, primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), alongside a small number of pupils with additional needs.

The Role Teaching a small SEN class of 5 pupils Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs Working closely with two additional specialist support staff Creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

The Ideal Candidate Will Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience working with SEN, particularly ASD (desirable but not essential) Be patient, nurturing and committed to inclusive education Work effectively as part of a supportive team Be able to support and uphold the school's values and ethos What's on Offer A rewarding role within a new SEN provision Small class sizes with excellent adult-to-pupil ratios Strong leadership and ongoing professional development Full-time role, Monday to Friday Main Pay Scale 4 to 6 The school can offer flexibility with a start date in April or September, making this a great opportunity for both immediate starters and those planning ahead.
