Aspire People are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Spilsby, Lincolnshire.
This welcoming and nurturing specialist setting supports pupils aged 2-19 years with a diverse range of complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school is committed to helping every pupil flourish, achieve their full potential, and develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for their future.
The school benefits from outstanding specialist facilities, including sensory and therapy spaces, life skills provision, independent living facilities, outdoor learning environments, and a range of resources designed to support pupils with additional needs.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

* Term Time Only

The Role:

* Support pupils with a range of complex SEND needs within the classroom and wider school environment.

* Work on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help pupils access learning and achieve their individual targets.

* Promote communication, independence, and engagement throughout the school day.

* Assist with personal care and physical support where required.

* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.

* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for learners.
We Are Looking For:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential.

* A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.

* The ability to build positive relationships and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
