SEN Teaching Assistant

The Role - As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs Assist students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and learning difficulties Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Help manage behaviour positively and encourage student engagement Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Encourage students social, emotional, and academic development

The Ideal Candidate - The school is looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Is patient, empathetic, and resilient Has strong communication and teamwork skills Can adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments Holds a degree or relevant childcare/support qualification (desirable but not essential) Is passionate about education and supporting vulnerable learners
