At Targeted Provision we change lives by providing support to young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional educational needs. We are looking for Core Subject (Mathematics, English or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver flexible, trauma‑informed teaching and mentoring to pupils aged KS1‑KS5.

Role Requirements
  • 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD, delivered in a holistic and trauma‑informed manner
  • Familiarity with teaching English, Maths and/or Science
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Enhanced DBS (facilitated if required) and 2+ professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and safe learning environments
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in‑person, online/remote and hybrid tuition in Maths, English or Science to children, teenagers and young people with SEMH and SEND needs (including MLD, SLD, PMLD and other additional educational needs)
  • Support pupils and students ranging from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools
  • Plan, deliver and report lesson plans and provide regular feedback on student progress
  • Work flexibly and creatively in a trauma‑informed environment to raise educational standards for young people with SEND and SEMH needs
