About the role
Justteachers is seeking a Physical Disability and Learning Difficulty Support Assistant to join a vibrant specialist school in the Lincolnshire area to cover on a long‑term basis. The full‑time post is due to start in September 2026
, with shortlisting currently taking place.
This inclusive and nurturing school is known for its commitment to empowering students with additional needs, fostering independence, and celebrating every learner’s unique potential.
Key Responsibilities- Providing tailored one‑to‑one and small group support for students with physical disabilities and learning difficulties.
- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and communication needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and engaging in school life confidently and safely.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Health & Social Care, or equivalent).
- Proven experience supporting children or young people with physical disabilities and/or learning difficulties.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive education practices and safeguarding procedures.
- Two education or school‑based references.
