• Teach and support students across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in animal behaviour and welfare.
• Lead teaching of applied welfare modules, such as Animal Management, Animal Protection and Applied Animal Behaviour.
• Develop and update curriculum and assessment materials.
• Engage in scholarship or professional practice appropriate to the career stage and contribute to the School’s academic environment.

• Experienced researcher and practitioner in animal welfare science with knowledge of policy, legislation and knowledge transfer.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality, student‑focused teaching at all levels.
• Strong connections with animal industries and/or animal protection charities.
• Evidence of leadership in programme or module development, preferably with under‑graduate degree leadership experience.
