Overview

We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, and inspiring Media Studies Teacher in Lincoln to join our successful team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students to explore, analyse, and create media in an ever-evolving digital world.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and, where applicable, Key Stage 5.
  • Inspire students through a creative and engaging curriculum that reflects contemporary media and industry developments.
  • Support students in developing analytical, practical, and production skills.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide effective feedback to maximise student achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and share best practice.
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as film clubs, media projects, competitions, or creative events.
Qualifications
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards achieving it.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Media Studies.
  • Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and effective behaviour management.
  • Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
