GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN Primary School in Lincoln from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The school caters for pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Staff are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Role

Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.
Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Encouraging pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
Promoting a positive and safe learning environment.
Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and other professionals to meet individual needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
Be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs.
Be available to work Monday to Friday on a full-time basis.
Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
