Teacher of Music - Lincoln

Location: Lincoln
Pay: 145-255 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Rolling Contract (Term Time Only)
Start Date: New Academic Term

Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity this new term? Clarence Recruitment is working with a welcoming secondary school in Lincoln seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join their team on a rolling term-time-only contract

The Role
  • Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging, practical and creative lessons that inspire a love of music.
  • Develop students' performance, composition and listening skills.
  • Encourage participation in musical activities both within and beyond the classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Contribute to concerts, performances and extracurricular music activities where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding teaching and learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Have a degree in Music or a related discipline.
  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education.
  • Be confident teaching both practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum.
  • Have excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Inspire, challenge and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be committed to raising standards and achieving excellent outcomes for young people.
  • Demonstrate a positive, flexible and professional approach to teaching.
