Food Technology Teacher – Lincolnshire

Full‑time, immediate start position in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Salary £143 – £255 per day (MPS/UPS based on experience). The role is a long‑term opportunity.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that challenge, motivate and support students of all abilities.
  • Develop students’ practical cooking skills alongside their understanding of nutrition, health and food science.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance and academic progress.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the Food Technology and wider Design & Technology curriculum.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for practical learning.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • The ability to engage and motivate learners across a range of abilities.
  • A commitment to raising standards and helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and student wellbeing.
